چکیده

Ultrasound-aided liquid phase exfoliation (ULPE) of graphene in pure water is environment-friendly. Two limiting factors ULPE are the non-uniform thickness few-layer (FLG) and a relatively low yield. Here we describe that enables us to produce FLG flakes with 3 layers flake sizes exceeding 1 ?m 2 just h. This process based on using combination two ultrasound sources high frequencies: 1174 kHz 20 kHz. different frequencies generate wider population size distribution cavitation bubbles act through number mechanisms towards graphene. For first time was characterized by acoustic measurements. Results show yield (10%) can be achieved. study demonstrates use dual frequency ultrasonic source control pressure critical optimizing quality assisted LPE water. It suggested width peak reflecting shock-wave emissions used as an indicator completeness, opening for way in-situ monitoring process. • Few-layer exfoliated dual-frequency sonication High- low-frequency has synergetic effect flakes. A stages measurements demonstrated.

Few-layer graphene obtained by electrochemical exfoliation of graphite cathode

Few-layer graphene has been prepared by electrochemical intercalation of graphite cathode using Na/ dimethyl sulfoxide complexes as intercalation agent. By adding thionin acetate salt into the electrolyte, the exfoliated graphite is stabilized and further exfoliated into few-layer graphene. Raman and X-ray photoelectron spectra indicate that the graphene material has lower content of defects an...

Environmental Synthesis of Few Layers Graphene Sheets Using Ultrasonic Exfoliation with Enhanced Electrical and Thermal Properties

In this paper, we report how few layers graphene that can be produced in large quantity with low defect ratio from exfoliation of graphite by using a high intensity probe sonication in water containing liquid hand soap and PVP. It was founded that the graphene powder obtained by this simple exfoliation method after the heat treatment had an excellent exfoliation into a single or layered graphen...

Few‐Layer Antimonene by Liquid‐Phase Exfoliation

We report on a fast and simple method to produce highly stable isopropanol/water (4:1) suspensions of few-layer antimonene by liquid-phase exfoliation of antimony crystals in a process that is assisted by sonication but does not require the addition of any surfactant. This straightforward method generates dispersions of few-layer antimonene suitable for on-surface isolation. Analysis by atomic ...

Scalable production of large quantities of defect-free few-layer graphene by shear exfoliation in liquids.

To progress from the laboratory to commercial applications, it will be necessary to develop industrially scalable methods to produce large quantities of defect-free graphene. Here we show that high-shear mixing of graphite in suitable stabilizing liquids results in large-scale exfoliation to give dispersions of graphene nanosheets. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy show th...

Field emission from few-layer graphene nanosheets produced by liquid phase exfoliation of graphite.

Graphene nanosheets have been synthesized from commercial expandable graphite by heating in a microwave oven and dispersing in ethanol by ultrasonication. Scanning and transmission electron microscopy and electron energy-loss spectroscopy and atomic force microscope showed that the nanosheets were about 2 nm in thickness and 10 microm in diameter. The field emission of the graphene sheets has b...
